Shooting professionally for 12 years my experience tends to be people based.

On the commercial side my work tends to be mostly environmental portraiture, which I love - basically photographing people in their own environment. Whether it's for an annual report, an editorial assignment for a local or national magazine or "just" a business portrait it's the variety and uniqueness of each shoot that I crave. There's something amazing about working on assignments that bring me to new locations and meeting new people.

When I'm not photographing people, my next love is shooting food and beverage. I've had the privilege of working with some of the areas top chef's and restaurants. Architecture and still life (product) photography round out my experiences nicely.

Brent Perniac has become one of Canada's most popular celebrity-event photographers. Brent has photographed a wide range of entertainment, sports, political, corporate, and royal icons and frequently finds his work published in major publications.
