John has a new purpose built studio located two miles from the town of Headford, Co.Galway.

The studio is child friendly with all lights ceiling mounted providing a safe environment for all customers which include families, couples, babies and children of all ages.

Although John's studio is newly built and it is where a lot of his work takes place, outdoor portraits are also popular and can take place in a venue that the customer is familiar with. For the same reason, baby or child portraits can also take place in their own home if the parent feels that they may act more naturally in their familiar environment.

After having studied at the National College of Photography in Pretoria, South Africa. I boarded the Cruise lines and became a portrait Photographer. After completing 2 contracts as a cruise ship photographer (and shooting around 80 000 families) I was then contracted to open a studio on the outskirts of London. After having successfully launced that studio i had gained a valuable insight to starting my own Studio. I then moved back to Ireland where i started my own Studio in the beautiful village of Cong in Co.Mayo.

We have also started Cong Photographic Club in Dec of 2011.

We have our Beginners Photography Classes starting in Feb 2012.
