To Paul Sherwood, Photography is both a passion and an art – it all started, when, as a teenager he took up photography as a hobby and later began working as a professional photographer.

Now, Thirty years later, it's still the same, with every day providing new challenges.

Aged 17, Paul joined the local newspaper in his home town of Guildford in the UK, and following eight years on the local circuit with the Surrey Advertiser, Paul joined one of the UK's largest Press Agencies, spending the next two years covering news and feature stories for British and European National Newspapers, TV News and Magazines.

In 1990 he joined Auto Express - the UK's top selling weekly motoring magazine - as their first staff photographer. He spent the next six years travelling extensively throughout the U.K. and Europe covering motoring related news and features.

Paul moved to Dublin, Ireland, in 1996 for marriage and to begin working as a freelance photographer, diversifying his work into many different fields, building up a loyal client base and earning a good reputation.

Philip Lauterbach Photographer returned to Ireland in 2000 after spending 10 successful years in New York, where he served his apprenticeship with many leading photographers in the world of interiors, architecture and Advertising. I started with a Phase One Scanning back on a 4x5 Sinar Camera and now have latest Phase One digital backs on a Hasselblad camera also various Canon digital cameras. I have spent my whole career in photography and audio visual business and worked cosely with major Advertising Agencies and Designers on a one to one bases. Also deal direct with major companies on photographic projects, my previous experience with Adertising Agency and Designers helps me advice direct companies on the right image they should portray.
