25 years ago, I was given a point and click camera. I've been creating images ever since.
After leaving school I joined the Army where I was offered training in covert & patrol photography and my love of the camera grew from there, eventually getting me the role of official unit photographer. I travelled the World with various units, always with a camera in my pack and thoroughly enjoyed the different photographic challenges each location offered.
On leaving the forces behind in 1996, I got married and was so disappointed in the images the professional produced I began to offer my services to family and friends. Their feedback has encourgaged me to continue developing my skills and branching out into other areas of the medium.
Although I do still work with film occassionally, I now work almost exclusively with digital.
Having been made redundant from my IT Manager career, I have now turned to photography as a profession, using my skills with the camera and image manipulation software to create photographs that you will treasure forever.
