Where are you based?
Born and raised in East Durham. I have chosen to live and work in this area, because I want to.
What's the easiest way to contact you?
Thanks to my beloved blackberry mobile phone (did I really say that?) I'm contactable pretty much all of the time; email, text or even a simple phone call is fine. If I am on a shoot then I may not be able to answer you straight away, but if you leave your contact details I promise I'll always get back to you.
Do you prefer taking photographs in a studio or on location?
Either, I can visit your home and quickly set up a mobile photographic studio with the minimum of fuss. As to locations, I'm always on the look-out for new and interesting locations: derelict buildings, beaches, woodland...the more variety the better.
How far will you travel to a photography assignment?
If there is a means of getting there, I go there - of course, the further I go, then travel and accommodation costs have to be considered. I can be commissioned for photographic assignments throughout the UK / worldwide.
Tell me something else about yourself
I worked for the local press in a freelance capacity during the late 1980's and early 1990's. I have also taught photography and video production in colleges and universities across the north-east of England.
I'm always pushing myself to take photographs which I feel excel in both quality and creativity. I'm a Nikon and PC user. I feel blessed to have some incredible friends who I know I can rely on to give honest feedback on my work.
I have this urge to live in the countryside, surrounded by ducks and horses - if I keep on taking great photographs then who knows?
