Over the 6 years that I have been photographing weddings, I have developed a modern, fresh & informal approach which is perfect for capturing weddings today. Having noticed that most bride & grooms prefer a more natural style, my wedding photography is not staged & stuffy, but fun and creative. I do not take control over your day, but rather prefer to let it naturally unfold so I can capture real moments & memories.

Using a combination of unobtrusive photography and a more fun, creative approach where appropriate, I feel I capture the true essence of the weddings I am apart of.

I have a First Class BA (Hons) in Photography, as well as being a member of The Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, I also hold an ABPPA

My kind of wedding photography appeals to a certain type of person. It's for someone who doesn't want to be hassled or handled by the photographer. The results are natural memories ofyour day not stiff uncomfortable poses. Every wedding requires a few formal group/posed shots and I cater for these accordingly but the main emphasis will be on candid, unobtrusive photography. The best way to an idea of my style is to look at recent wedings, please visit the proofs section to view complete weddings from this year. As a photographer the wedding is the easy part, requiring anywhere from 4 to twelve hours at the event. Coverage often starts at the house while the bride is getting ready and continues through the reception upto the first dance. A few posed shots are always required but I try and keep the rest of the day as relaxed and informal as possible. I like to capture the wedding day events as they happen rather than staging shots to photograph

My approach to wedding photography is quite relaxed; I believe that the best results are achieved by getting the right balance between posed groups shots and a reportage / documentary style. It’s my job to find new and artistic ways to make your photographs stand out from the crowd, and to ensure they’re a true reflection of your unique day.
