My approach to wedding photography is always to try and tell the unique story that is your wedding day. I usually aim to mix both classic and contemporary posed photographs with candid shots. I enjoy observing people and catching those special moments that happen organically. Many of my favourite shots are caught in the magic of the moment.

My kind of wedding photography appeals to a certain type of person. It's for someone who doesn't want to be hassled or handled by the photographer. The results are natural memories ofyour day not stiff uncomfortable poses. Every wedding requires a few formal group/posed shots and I cater for these accordingly but the main emphasis will be on candid, unobtrusive photography. As a photographer the wedding is the easy part, requiring anywhere from 4 to twelve hours at the event. Coverage often starts at the house while the bride is getting ready and continues through the reception upto the first dance. A few posed shots are always required but I try and keep the rest of the day as relaxed and informal as possible.
