So there is the dress, the suits, the cars, the invites [and thankyou’s!], the cake, the flowers, the venue, the food, the drinks, who will be best man, how many bridesmaids, will the families get on, what about a honeymoon and oh my goodness, the hen and stag nights – that one wonderful little question has now led you to a million others, all of which are now spinning round your head and falling over each other like….well, the groomsmen on the stag night to be honest.

I didn’t mention the photography of course, yet another question that will require an answer before too long and the simple fact that you are reading this means you have asked the question. As a photographer, my job is to help you answer it.

Photography is a record of events, a capture of moments in time that instantly become your history and part of the story you pass on to future generations of your family. Everyone has their own idea of the sort of pictures they like, and not every photographer is suited to every client, so be sure to ask as many questions as you can, and make sure the answers suit your needs.

What I aim to do for you is produce beautiful images you will want to show off to family and friends for years to come, using a mix of formal and informal styles.How many wedding albums get stuck in drawer, never to see the light of day again? How pointless is that?

2010 sees WGI introduce a range of wedding packages, as well as a bespoke service for those that want something a little less ordinary. The packages, which range from our Bare Beauty set, up to the Highgate Collection, can be adapted to make them unique as you are. I will be there to offer help and advice from the minute you first call to the day you take delivery of your finished products and beyond.
