I like my work to contain an element of action. This might be quite extreme, like a power boat leaving the water or it might be a dancer or musician performing.

A lot of my work features active sports. Even my wedding shoots often contain action shots.

I was born in 1952 and I've been taking photos since I was about ten years old, when my father bought an Ilford Sporti and gave me his Box Brownie.

I am a member of the Royal Photographic Society, the SWPP, the SISLP and the Bureau of Freelance Photographers. I am also the house photographer for the rock band Scarred For Life

My style is geared toward documentary style photography, as I don’t want to control your day, but allow you to enjoy yourself without me telling you what to do all the time.

I normally take the two of you away on your own at some time during the day and I will then do some direction to help me capture the essence of the love between you.

After that, I try to meld into the background and capture the spirit of the day and the emotions that will flow from you and your guests.
