I am a versatile and widely published photographer with a wealth of experience in a variety of styles of photography. I am based in the West Midlands, well located for most of England and Wales, and happy to work anyhere in the UK including London, Manchester and Birmingham

I began my career photographing bands and musicians such as the The Stone Roses, Paul Weller and Coldplay - my pictures were often seen in publications such as the NME, Q and The Guardian. My work then took me into the newsrooms of the National and Regional press, where I photographed some key historical events, including the Lockerbie bombing, State visits and Royal weddings. I also photographed major sporting events such as the Commonwealth Games and Wembley Cup Finals. During this time I won a number of awards for my work including: National News Photographer of the Year, Royal Photographer of the Year and Sports Photographer of the Year and I even managed to persuade Boris Johnson to be my assistant for a while when we worked on the same newspaper

Since leaving newspapers I have worked in an equally diverse market. I shoot portraits for glossy magazines, annual report and architectural shots for corporate clients, advertising and PR assignments, whilst also shooting a select number of reportage weddings each year.

My clients include: Amnesty International, Phones 4U, Clarks Shoes, Weekend Magazine, Barclays, Clarence House, The Times and HM Government
