Jesús Garza is a documentary, commercial and fine art photographer residing in Riverside, California. Garza has been showing his photographs in museums and galleries since 1970 (18 years young). His photographic collection includes Imágenes Xicano, a series of documentary photographs from the 70s that provide a unique history of the Chicana/o movement and form a primary core of his photographic production. These photographs continue to be used in books, articles and exhibitions. These images are also the foundation of the book, Chicano Photographer.

Garza's photographs were published in Cesar Chavez, Amazing Americans, Wright Group/McGraw-Hill. The Fight in The Fields, Susan Ferriss, Harcourt Brace & Company. Jesús Garza has taught serigraphy, photography and story boarding for film and video. The photographer is available for exhibitions, lectures, panels and even lunch.

I have a BA in Journalism with an emphasis in Photojournalism from San José State University. I have taken Masters level courses at the Academy of Art University. I received a scholarship to San José State University and the San Francisco Art Institute. I have lectured and my work has been exhibited and published extensively.
