David Watersun specializes in producing dramatic Hawaiian photography. Watersun Photography has operated from Maui for twenty years to create advertising, corporate, and editorial photography. Hawaii has become the focus of Watersun's work, where the island lifestyle offers unique opportunities to photograph its diverse people, places, and events. David's location, activity, and cultural photographs of Hawaii’s heritage and environment appear in print and electronic media for client projects.

After receiving academic degrees from Occidental College and Brooks Institute of Photography, David Watersun opened his Seattle studio to produce corporate photography for major clients such as Microsoft, Boeing, and Transamerica. Watersun was commissioned by Canon Photography to photograph the America's Cup yachting competition in Australia, which led to an international odyssey stretching from the Indian Ocean to the Great Barrier Reef. David arrived in Hawaii to market his photographic library of travel, scenic, and lifestyle images to an exemplary group of media producers, visual providers, and professional designers.

I received my first camera in my late 20’s, and have been hooked ever since!

After majoring in graphic design, I found the transition to capturing composition, detail, color and texture through the lens, a natural one.

Originally from Ohio, I moved to Maui, Hawaii in 1987, where I continued my dive training up through instructor.

I was honored to learn the art of underwater photography with the late, great, Jim Church, and the legendary Stan Waterman during trips to Micronesia, Fiji and throughout Hawaii.

Maui wedding photographer Joe D'Alessandro has been creating dynamic wedding images for 23 years.

Born and raised in New York City, Joe moved to Maui in 1985 and opened his first photography business with his soon to be wife, Co. Together they photographed weddings and events in the finest hotels and venues in the Hawaiian Islands. Joe and Co were the first house photographers for the Four Seasons Resort in Wailea, contracted with clients such as Xerox and shot functions in such diverse places as Scottsdale Arizona and San Diego.

After more than a decade in Maui they moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico where they got involved in the art world and photographed some of the finest western art, such as Georgia O'keeffe, Frederick Remington and Charlie Russell for publication and advertisement. Their clients include high profile collectors, museums, galleries and publishing houses. In addition to art, Joe created advertisements for local restaurants and galleries including artistic food shots for a book to be published by one of Santa Fe's premier eating establishments.

Basically, between assignment work, I produce Stock beauty and swimsuit images intended for eventual commercial print publication. Besides my photographic work, credits also include motion pictue & network TV lighting, a few music videos and national TV commercials. I have produced, directed and written a few commercials as well. A lot of crazy years in the dues-paying L.A. industry.
