We specialize in outdoor events such as rodeos, cowboy action & mounted competition, Native American ceremonies, kids sports, nature & landscape photography as well as more traditional events such as weddings, parties and banquets. Jim Hunter began his career as a full-time professional photographer in 1984 after leaving his management position at a computer manufacturer in Houston, Texas.

Since 1994 Jim has lived in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where he specializes in food, still life, small product and lifestyle photography assignments on location for editorial, corporate and advertising clients as well as similar subjects for stock.

Albuquerque NM freelance photographer Steven St. John (b. 1977) is available for editorial and corporate assignments worldwide. He worked as an assistant picture editor and staff photographer at his home town paper The Albuquerque Tribune until it ceased publication in 2008.

Our focus is on the outdoor experience, emphasizing having fun with minimal impact, and a healthy lifestyle. We focus on what we call “accessible wilderness” and strive to show everyday people in extraordinary places, such as “our backyard”. Many years of real life wilderness experiences enable us to create images that reflect realistic outdoor situations and to sometimes poke fun at what not to do in the great outdoors.

We operate out of Eagle River, Alaska (outside Anchorage) and Taos, New Mexico.
