Daniel D’Ottavio is a commercial photographer based in New York City. He fell in love with film when he was given his grandfather’s Pentax camera, and has since developed a successful practice in fashion, sports and portrait photography.

Whether documenting real events or creating a fictional world with his photographs, Daniel strives to produce images that are an authentic reflection of the people in them. He favors traditional film and Polaroid photography, typically using natural light and a handheld camera to achieve a look that is at once contemporary and of a different time.
