I have spent the last eleven years as a Marine wife, facing some of the frustrations that military life brings yet embracing many of its challenges. Over the years I have become more interested in photography as a way to remember all the wonderful people we have met and the amazing places we have been. I decided I wanted to use this interest as a way to cater to the needs of military families, who often spend so much time apart because of deployments (as I write this I am almost to the halfway point of deployment number four and a half).

My goal is to capture your love for your family and the wonder of your childrens' personalities in a way that will help keep your family connected no matter where you are or how much time passes. I strive to provide photographs that look naturally beautiful and relaxed rather than overly posed. As a result, I prefer to photograph your family at a place that is meaningful to you. In my opinion your home, the beach, or your favorite place for family outings all provide more beautiful settings than a restrictive studio backdrop.
