Lead Retouch Arist & Photographer: Kathryn Miller
Kathryn has worked in the computer graphics and photography fields for pre-press houses, publications and advertising agencies since 1989 for clients including Nintendo, Nordstrom and Microsoft for whom she created many of the cockpit panels used in their Combat Flight Simulator.
Kathryn has lived in a handful of places across the country including Pittsburgh, Washington D.C., Seattle and the beautiful world of Montana, working for a variety of advertising and graphics companies. She moved to Key West, Florida in 2001 where she worked as the Art Director for Key West Magazine and Impressions Advertising agency as well as working as the assistant to photographer Richard Watherwax, a wonderful photographer of the days of ‘real photography", most notably known for his poster “Fat Cat Capsizing”. Kathryn also worked as a wedding and event photographer in the Florida Keys.
It was in mid-2004, that she met Alan S. Maltz, a talented and visioned photographer best known for his fine art photography of the state of Florida and the Florida Keys.
