My favorite quote, “A good photograph is knowing where to stand.” by Ansel Adams means exactly that. I’ve devoted myself to Photography, since I knew what a camera could really do, which is capture precious moments in time. I’ve gained a lot of skills within this fine art field, whether it came from College courses, other people’s techniques or just trial an error. Photography to me means visual expression, which is about seeing something, knowing how you want it to look, and making it so. The first time I learned how to take pictures was actually out of a cardboard oatmeal box back in the early 90's. From that moment on photography has made me interact with my surroundings more, be aware of the subject and context as well as the foreground and background. No matter where I am I see objects/people as a work of art, and something I can't get enough of exposing the beauty they portray. The greatest gift is seeing the love I bring in capturing one's family and being able to keep it for years to come.
